home

“home” is a show in which six dancers produce music through the movements of their legs. The technical aspects of this show are used as a mean to constraint the dancers. They are not dancing, they are producing music through a difficult medium (legs with sensors). (See lubyk for details on the software used for this show)

While the dancers struggle to produce a coherent “R&B” sounding music, a narrator tells “potential” stories. A same story might be told more then once with a small change leading to completely different results in terms of the emotions involved.

“The girl walks by a bus stop. There is a bus. She takes it and goes to town.”

“The girl walks by a bus stop. There is a bus. She sits and watches the bus leave. She doesn’t feel like going home and starts to wander.”
