Why you should have many friends and see them very often.
I was just showing my brand new books to some friends and they told me :
- Lua ? Hey, I’ve heard something about this language and Max/MSP.
- Huh ?
I googled and found lua~ , an audio object for Max/MSP. This was a shock. Basically, it means that all the work I have been through because I could not find a way to script Max could have been avoided if I new about Lua sooner and had some knowledge that such an object for Max existed.
Maybe lua~ is just for audio processing, so I don’t care. And finally, I don’t like to put too much energy in commercial software (learn them, hate them, wait for a fix, cannot improve).
Max/MSP: rot in hell.
